Hi again, I’m Ciaran O’Connell. I’m a UX/UI Designer based in London. I create high quality user-centred designs that are built for everyone to use and enjoy. Above all, I care for the work I produce and the people who use it.
What is my approach to design?
Keep things simple. Of course I like fancy animations but what's really important is the UX. There's no point making the prettiest design in the world if users can’t access it. Users should be able to get what they want in an instant, why make them fight for it?
What got me into UX/UI Design?
At school my two favourite subjects were Art and Psychology. As a curious person, I'm always interested in the reasoning behind something. UX/UI Design allows me to combine this curiosity with the ability to express creativity.
What else do I like?
Aside from design, I’m a keen runner. I’m passionate about football and have been a season ticket holder for my club for several years. I’ve recently got into reading and enjoy the odd trip, most recently to Japan & Morocco
